Description: Our client, a leading utilities provider, is looking to recruit a permanent Earthing Specialist. Based out of Nottingham (with some flexibility on travel), your role will be to support the development and then maintain policies, standards and specifications that relate to Earthing on the network, equipment condition, condition based maintenance, industry best practise, risk assessment and other techniques used to develop these policies, standards and specifications. The successful applicant will ideally have an Engineering qualification - minimum HNC/HND preferably Degree. Operational experience of distribution networks. Experience of Earthing as well as the ability to demonstrate understanding of other areas. Good interpersonal and influencing skills. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal effectively and confidently with staff at all levels and customers and third parties at senior levels. The ability to make decisions and meet tight deadlines. An excellent salary and benefits package is available.
