A leading cybersecurity company are currently in need of two Pre-Sales Consultants to join their team. There is one position in Birmingham and one in London.
The company’s propositions are broken into two broad areas; solutions and advanced consultancy. Their solutions include perimeter managed services, managed application security, managed threat detection, managed compliance monitoring, and managed vulnerability scanning and a range of products from market leading technology vendors supported by best in class consultancy and implementation services. The advanced consultancy services include goal orientated penetration testing, security assessments, advanced foot printing, incident triage and advanced cybersecurity training services. Main Responsibilities
To aid the Sales department in selling security solutions, centered on the company’s services
and its portfolio.
To assist the Sales department in providing a technical and commercial overview of the company’s
offerings.

• To attend and arrange customer/vendor meetings
• To attend and arrange customer/vendor conference calls
• To deliver proof of concepts
• To respond to Tender requirements
• To attend training sessions, both in-house, vendor specific and external
• To provide a monthly spread sheet detailing meetings attended, conference calls made, training days attended, proof of concepts delivered
• To write proposals and scope of work

Qualifications Required
Essential
GCSE

Desirable
Certification in Security Technology

Experience Required

Pre-Sales experience
Customer facing
Writing proposals / scopes
Knowledge of the Security Industry
To have previously worked within a dynamic sales department

Desirable
Experience in working with Checkpoint / F5 /Blue Coat / Fortinet / Palo Alto / Pulse Secure
/LogRhythm / Cisco AMP

Knowledge Required
Essential
Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio
Good understanding of TCP / IP networking and security fundamentals
Good understanding of the security market
