The Challenge Ahead…
Our team at Fuel Recruitment will be taking on the hills of the 2022 Peak District Mighty Hike for Macmillan Cancer Support. The 13-mile hike will take place on July 24th in the Peak District.
To prepare for the challenge, we have already started a training program, with the whole team getting involved. From walks, to gym sessions, to weekend hikes, we’ve thought of it all!
Why Macmillan Cancer Support…
Macmillan Cancer Support is a movement of over 25,000 people across the UK, who are campaigning for better support for people living with cancer.
There’s around 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and over 360,000 more are diagnosed every year. Right now, millions of people with cancer are counting on Macmillan for physical, financial, and emotional support. Donations make up 98% of the annual income for Macmillan, who help people with cancer live life as fully as they can.
But Macmillan can’t do it alone. They’re facing a huge drop in income as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. They need our support now more than ever.
