Job Details

Our clients are looking for Graduates to join their programme which is designed to maximise their graduates’ knowledge within a short period of time through structured training.

Multiple positions to cover 3 key areas:
North East – Newcastle office – Hybrid/Home based
Midlands – Hybrid – Graduate up to Senior level
South/London – Hybrid – Graduate up to Senior level

The programme stretches across two years and allows all graduates to be involved in the activities that are required for the services that our client deliver to their clients and allows each graduate to gain highly relevant and valuable skills to be implemented in a surveying career in the future.

Equally, our client is committed to helping their graduates through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) programme and hence the graduate programme is closely aligned to the APC by providing graduates with the knowledge and support required to eventually sit the final APC assessment.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • From day one as a graduate, you will be involved in the delivery of services to our clients.
  • You will gradually be taking on more responsibility and within your first year you are likely to have your own caseload
  • Day-to-day activities may include anything from conducting lease summaries, site inspections and audits, assessing access requests, investigating breaches, conducting rent reviews, negotiating new leases and providing advice to our clients on all of the above
  • While some days you might be in the office, other days you will be out on sites or visiting clients

The Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for candidates that have recently graduated or are about to graduate from university with a RICS accredited degree
  • The candidate must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and be eager to learn
  • The candidate must be an independent, confident, hardworking and responsible person, prepared to take on their own cases and work directly with clients
  • Additionally, we are looking for someone who is organised, a good team player, and with exceptional attention to detail
  • A full driving licence is also required
