Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – 3-month contract (quarterly rolling) – £450 per day (Outside IR35) – Suffolk / Hybrid (Once per week on site) 

Network Implementation / Construction / NEC / Energy 

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities comply with site safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring expenditures are within the approved budget.
• Measure, submit and agree variations, loss & expense and/or compensation events in accordance with contractual provisions to facilitate prompt agreement of final accounts
• Attending contract review meetings.
• Preparing and issuing contractual notices to sub-contractors.
• Maintaining strict adherence to site safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure project compliance and safety.
• Experience of NEC contracts
• Ability to influence and negotiate with proven experience in resolving difficult or disputed accounts to finality.
• Experience of Financial and Contract Management software packages (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence – as you will be required to travel to sites across the region
