We are looking for a Business Systems Administrator to help us maintain and manage our systems. We are a family owned Internet Service Provider bringing broadband to rural areas through a mixture of technologies. Having secured several £multi million projects, and with the view of acquiring more, we need a Business Systems Administrator on a permanent basis to assist in our IT team.
The ideal candidate needs to be able to learn systems quickly, have an interest and knowledge of IT and confident in producing reports.
The main duties include:
•Extracting and analyzing information from systems and databases for KPI and migration purposes.
•Assisting in the preparation of BI dashboards and reports.
•Supporting maintenance and development of the business systems and processes.
•Providing the first line of internal systems support and advice to Airband users.
•Assisting in the new system adaptation process.
•Assisting in providing systems training for new starters and existing employees.
•Provide systems reports, feedback and assist in the preparation of relevant KPI information.
•Liaising with 3rd party software providers, reporting issues, proposing changes and investigating systems usability.
•Any other duties as required by the Business Systems Manager.
•Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
•Experience in mapping and documenting processes.
•Experience within Software or Systems development or support.
•Excellent attention to detail and highly analytical.
•Good understanding of databases and SQL language would be an advantage.
•Self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative.
•Technically aware and have a broad understanding of IT disciplines.
