|Salary:||£18 - £23 per hour|
As a Wire Person you will be responsible for the production of cabinet and equipment building activities against design drawings issued by the engineering department. The ideal candidate will be familiar with cable presentation and termination, panel power distribution, cable and connector crimping. It is essential that you have at least 3-5 years experience of working with 19″ rack mount and backplate assembly, competent in telecoms panel wiring and mechanical builds, whilst working to and maintaining ISO 9001: 2015 standards against critical time frames. You should possess an understanding of technical design of equipment installation within cabinet frames together with the ability to interpret electrical drawings. You will be required to use initiative, hit the ground running and work as part of a team to achieve company goals and production targets. Electrical qualifications and basic computer skills would also be an advantage.
Experience working in a similar environment, telecoms/electrical and panel wiring essential. The candidate should be familiar with the cable presentation and termination, panel power distribution, cable and connector crimping and be competent in telecoms panel wiring and mechanical builds. An understanding of technical design equipment installation within cabinet frames together with the ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings.
