Pre Sales Solutions Architect – Buckinghamshire – £50k-70K 20% + Company Benefits – Permanent
Our client is a leading communications infrastructure provider who plays a crucial part in supporting the country’s thriving digital economy.
To produce innovative and cost effective system and/or network designs to support the sales and account management teams to win new business, ensuring all solutions are realistic, deliverable and where appropriate operate to generate maximum value.
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise, including network planning, to the business and customers during the lifecycle of a project; from initial sales, through implementation, to in-life support for operations as required
• Provide specialist technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents, and identify opportunities to support existing customers.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand their requirements, and develop and recommend cost effective solutions which meet or exceed expectations
• Provide technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and skills and providing supervision, guidance and mentoring as required to engineers, technicians and internal and external customers
• Detailed technical knowledge & understanding of satellite technology, satellite operators, and third party service providers
• Good understanding of IP terminology & design. Able to articulate IP requirements, and work with colleagues/suppliers to produce suitable designs
• Awareness of good sales practice, with skills in lead qualification & identifying further opportunity
