Job Title: Quality Manager
Adapt the 4PL Quality and Claims policies to ensure common understanding by all employees and carriers
Analyse and monitor the quality of service and where necessary creates recovery action plans.
Prioritises areas for development in the LBU in line with 4PL and company strategy
Implements flow chart visualisation for key metrics
Represents the company externally (clients, suppliers, network, etc.)
Management of Quality and Claims
Listen to and integrate Customer requirements into the daily activity
Measure and review the KPI’s linked to the customer
Drive the actions for improvement through implementation of the Lean, Kaizen and GMS tools
Achieve customer satisfaction through a continuous improvement process, ensuring effective management of customer non-conformance and complaints
Change and Process Management
Encourage your staff to support and join in with 4PL projects and initiatives
Ensure that all new initiatives are correctly documented and accessible to all team members
Promote the advantages of new tools or procedures to the wider audience
Propose solutions which are most closely matched to 4PL objectives
Team Leadership and Management
Act as a line manager of Team members in accordance with Company policies and procedures (e.g. absence management, performance management, recruitment activities, disciplinary and grievance management, etc.)
Analyze the team’s skill level and propose plans for development.
Monitor and plan to cover absences of employees (Leave, training, business trip, etc.)
Promote, manage and instigate the 5S ethos throughout the team
Comply with the MTQ process including regular team meetings
Establish plan to minimize impact of anomaly/crisis situations (i.e. strikes, bad weather, etc).
Support the 4PL organisation in achieving and maintaining ISO accreditation.
Liaise with other parts of the 4PL organisation to achieve a “best in class” result
Use all necessary tools and experience in achieving a successful outcome for the UK 4PL.
Engage with all Managers to ensure ISO success.

Adapt language and behaviour to different types of situations, ability to communicate confidently at all levels. (other departments, network, customers, drivers, etc.)
