To handle all aspects of the Town & Country Planning work as required to meet the different project needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful applicant will provide temporary extra capacity to service the Town & Country planning work required for the range of Project works being conducted.
•Preparation (including pre-con), submission and management of LPA planning applications (Full, GPDO, Listed, LN, Appeals) in accordance with our own and client standards and templates.
•Advise on all Planning policy issues.
•Attend client meetings as required.
•Assist in supervising junior team members.
•Providing planning advice and support to colleagues across the business as required.
•Site visits & attendance at planning committee meetings etc. as required
•Maintain quality files and information to required audit standards.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
•MRTPI qualified (at least 3 years post qualification experience)
•Telecoms experience essential
•Experience of working in planning consultancy or local authority development control.
•Experience in preparing, submitting and managing planning applications to a high/auditable standard.
•Working to tight deadlines and able to manage a large case load is essential.
