Fuel Recruitment raise over £150,000 for charitable causes
As the Fuel Recruitment team embark on another charity cycle challenge, we look back on our fundraising events for local and national charities.
Over the years we’ve donated an incredible £150,000 for charities such as Get a Head, Age UK, Children in Need, Comic Relief and Movember. We’ve climbed Mount Snowdon, cycled 900 miles, kayaked down canals and worn ugly Christmas jumpers!
Thanks to the generosity of our family, friends, clients and candidates we’ve been able to lend our support to much-needed services around the UK. But we’re not finished yet!
This year, our team of 10 (mostly inexperienced) cyclists will be cycling “Coast 2 Coast” from Whitehaven to Newcastle over 3 days to raise money for our nominated charities for 2018: The Big Issue, Bliss, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Fuel Managing Director Mark Esom says:
“During our lives, many of us have been or will be touched by the incredible services that these charities provide. We’re aiming to raise £2500 and we’re halfway to hitting that target already.”
