Fuel Recruitment Wins Award for Best Staffing Firm to Work For in the UK/Ireland 2020!

Fuel Recruitment has won an award for Best Staffing Firms to Work For in the UK and Ireland 2020.

The results were based on a confidential survey carried out by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the international advisor on staffing and workforce solutions.  Award organisers asked more than 3,000 employees of recruitment companies to give their views on what their firm was like to work for.

Fuel Recruitment, specialising in IT, Telecoms and Engineering, won the award for its high scores in the category for businesses with ten to fifty employees. The company is based in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.

Staff at Fuel who took part in the anonymous survey said they were “buzzing with delight” and “incredibly proud” their company had been recognised through this award.

Business Development Manager, Rich Giles said: “When I first joined Fuel two years ago I was completely new to recruitment. The support and guidance I was given helped me to become confident and competent in my role. It is a company which truly puts its trust in its workforce.”

Talent Acquisitions Manager, Katie Tyler said: “I’m really proud to work for Fuel. Everybody pitches in. The directors sit next to you rather than in an office on their own. There are no barriers. They are really approachable and there is such a sense of teamwork. We don’t just do recruitment. We learn about all aspects of business so we can help and advise our clients.”

Managing Director, Mark Esom said he was really pleased for Fuel to win the award and thrilled staff were so positive about working for the business.

He said: “The recruitment industry can be challenging. There is a lot of pressure and it is hard work. To be recognised in this way, especially by our staff, makes me incredibly proud of the work we do at Fuel. We don’t just recruit talent for our clients, we recruit and encourage our talent too and it is great to hear staff feel they are supported and encouraged in every way.”

Previous awards include The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain and recently presented with the Bronze Award for the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme which supports ex-military personnel into work.
