Job Details
My client is searching for candidates to join their expanding Asset Management Team to support and maintain the full lifecycle of a diverse portfolio of Shared Telecoms Infrastructure Sites.
The Team is responsible for ensuring that our Shared Infrastructure Facilities remain safe and open for business at all times throughout the year through the planning and coordination of suppliers delivering planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
This Inspection Manager will support the Team by taking ownership of all site level Inspection Programmes activity and Capital projects impacting the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Infrastructure Facilities are safe, meeting the regulatory H&S requirements
- Ensure all Infrastructure sites are inspected in accordance with regulatory and industry best practice to an acceptable standard and remain open for and safe to access
- Work with outsource partners, to deliver essential inspection programmes covering such infrastructure as Aircraft Warning Lights, Pylons, Rooftop Installations, Towers
- Ensure all Inspection Activities are completed with minimum disruption to core business activities of the Infrastructure Sharers
- Manage supplier contracts and KPIs
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and ensure remedial actions are carried out in a timely manner
Person specification
- H&S – A knowledge of the relevant safety standards which may include, IOSH Managing Safely, Rooftop Safety, RF Awareness, RAMS Approval and climbing certificates. Having all of these qualifications is not essential as necessary training will be made available. However, wanting to belong and participate in an active, responsible safety culture is vital.
- Project Management Skills.
- Communication skills – interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills.
- Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload
- Confident decision making
- Time management skills – delivering projects on time and budget.
- Clear and concise writing skills and the ability to handle long and complex documents
- Presentation skills – Ability to deliver proposals to Manager & Directors
- A practical, flexible, and innovative approach that focusses on delivery
