Telecoms Electrician

Telecoms Electrician – 6-month Contract – £380 per day (All-in rate Outside IR35) – UK Wide 

Responsibilities:

• Complete electrical works ensuring legal requirements, customer standards and best practice.
• Validate AC/DC electrical certification as required and challenge any flaws within the document provided by a supplier.
• Ensure any mistakes in installation / testing are corrected and be able to demonstrate how standards and regulations have been met if any questions are raised.
• Provide feedback to Project OTD & Electrical Manager regarding works completed in order inform, track and trend any given electrician’s performance or areas for improvement.
• Be able to support on site works and installation as required to include:
• AC and DC wiring, terminations
• Multi Circuit Breaker swaps when required
• Earthing, bonding and lightning protection
• Alarms wiring, terminations and functional testing
• Relevant completion of paperwork, reports and certificates within agreed timelines

Role Requirements:
Relevant trade qualifications which deem the role as a competent electrician able to conduct both electrical works and testing and inspecting. This includes:

• City & Guilds 2365 L2 & L3
• City & Guilds 2391 L3 Testing & Verification
• City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition
• PSU training (delta)
• Relevant IT skills and experience in order to fulfil the role responsibilities.  
• Good technical knowledge of both Electrical systems within service delivery model and Mobile Telecom systems.
• Significant technical knowledge of Electrical systems and compliance requirements.
• Be of good character and demonstrate integrity.
