Financial Analyst

Role purpose: Support cost transformation through data-driven insights, smart analysis, stakeholder alignment, and continuous financial improvement.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
1. Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
2. Proficient in data-driven decision-making and scenario planning
3. Skilled in building dashboards and visual reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
4. Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive change
5. Experience in cost optimisation and performance improvement initiatives

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• CIMA/ACCA or equivalent financial qualification (part or fully qualified)
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus
• Experience working within a telecommunications business  as a Financial Analyst

• Actively drives Rationalisation of the Network through financial insights
• Delivers accurate, timely reporting and actionable recommendations for cost savings
• Supports successful implementation of transformation initiatives and tracks related KPIs
