AI Security Architect

AI Security Architect – 3-month contract – Berkshire/Hybrid (2 days a week on site) – £600 per day (Outside IR35)

Artificial Intelligence/Generative AI/DevSecOps/Network Operations/Telecommunications

Key skills/experience:

Security Architecture with AI Focus

• Designs and implements security architecture for AI/ML platforms (eg, secure MLOps pipelines).

• Understands threats and vulnerabilities unique to AI systems, including data poisoning, model inversion, adversarial attacks, and supply chain risks in AI model deployment.

• Familiar with AI-specific compliance and governance (eg, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).

DevSecOps Expertise

• Integrates security throughout the CI/CD life cycle, including model training, validation, and deployment stages.

• Automates security scanning (SAST, DAST, SCA) across traditional and ML pipelines.

• Skilled in tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud-native security solutions.

Network and Infrastructure Security

• Strong understanding of network architecture (SDN, zero trust, microsegmentation).

• Designs secure data flows for AI systems involving large-scale ingestion, inference, and Real Time analytics.

• Experienced with NDR, SIEM, and SOAR tools, and integrating these with AI systems for enhanced detection.

AI/ML Engineering Background

• Familiar with AI life cycle tools (eg, MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI).

• Understands model training, validation, and deployment in cloud and edge environments.

• Has hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Jupyter workflows.
