Payments Business Analyst

Our consultancy client is currently looking for a couple of experienced payments BA's with extensive knowledge of BACS (DD and DC) and SEPA (Inst and DD) to work on a project for a banking client of theirs. The project you will be working on is building a new payments platform from scratch which will be a SaaS based product. You will need expert working knowledge on payments schemes, regulatory and rulebook changes, message and field mapping and edge cases. The payments specialisation is non negotiable so please only apply if you have a strong background across BACS and SEPA.

You will do indepth analysis of complex initiatives producing documentation and defining business requirements using your knowledge of various SEPA clearing schemes and SWIFT network to write appropriate work packages for the engineering team. Create user stories and acceptance criteria using your technical expertise and knowledge of process modelling to help manage change. You will need recent execution experience onboarding to SEPA clearing scheme and have knowledge of messaging such as SWIFT MT and ISO20022. 

You will need to be onsite initially for 3 days a week in London which will decrease longer term and the role will be inside IR35.
